A view of the San Francisco skyline on a cloudy day from a hill in the middle of the city. A very curvy road can be seen in the foreground. This photograph captured in February, 2000 was taken by Jim Epler during the winter in San Francisco, CA at the summit of Twin Peaks. It is cataloged under the terms cities and landscapes & vistas in this photography database.
The image was exposed on 35mm Kodak GOLD 200 color film stock using a Pentax Asahi Spotmatic II camera with a Asahi Pentax 28mm f/3.5 lens.
Photographer Comments: I like this picture because of the heavy, overcast clouds blanketing the city; very "San Francisco" in my opinion. Twin Peaks reminds me of Arthur's Seat in the middle of Edinburgh, Scotland. The weather is another comparable aspect between these two great cities.
