Photographer Comments: I remember my trek up Hyde Street from Fisherman's Wharf to take this shot. I misjudged the slope of Hyde street and found myself winded by the time I arrived at this particular point along the route. I decided to take the shot here and be done with it, although now I wish I had taken more time to go further up the hill. My wife (girlfriend at the time) was pressing for time and I didn't want to make her more mad than she already was! To this day I don't know why I didn't just take the cable car up the hill instead of walking. I guess I thought it would be good exercise.
