Photographer Comments: This is one of several test pictures I took as I practiced panning my camera to create a motion blur effect. This technique can be a bit tricky and requires practice. The technique requires focusing on an approaching subject and moving your camera in the same direction at approximately the same pace using a fairly slow shutter speed. I wasn't totally happy with the composition and focus of this photograph but feel it has enough artistic merit to post in my database.
